Crespin sent us a brief biography

Let me see, the last time I wrote a bio it was in the fifth grade and five pages long. Now I have to do it in a paragraph. I am an award-winning illustrator and author of such titles as Madfrog, Micorwave Boy and the Stick. I was born and raised in Michigan, worked and lived in two other states. I have been in and out of school ever since the end of the second to worst period in my life, High School. All I can say is stay in school, kids, don't end up like me, an artist who loves to draw and create but works in a call center. Education doesn't make you an artist, but it gets you the job. In fact, the last time I quit school was so that my daughter will be able to go to school and be whatever she wants. So I guess that leads to the most important thing about me - I'm a husband and most importantly a dad. (In case you were wondering the worst period in my life was my last job, which has had an incredible effect on my comic work, and the award was the Calberry Award back in grade school.)
